Happy Monday Scrapper's,

Today I am sharing a layout I created the other day just for me! That's right, a layout just for the hell of it, and because I have been dying to use these My Mind's Eye papers since I got them last year. As soon as I saw all the gold and gold glitter I knew they would be the perfect papers to scrap my gold Labrador Missy Precious!

Missy is so photogenic so I scrap photo's of her more then I do my other Labrador Belle Precious as she is black and it is terribly hard to get a good photo of her with good lighting, plus she doesnt like to stay still too long lol.

I have used a Martha Stewart Around the Page punch but not entirely around the whole page for something different. I have used brown paint dabbers on the Prima resin embellishment then wiped excess off with a paper towel to give a distress look. The flowers are a mixture of Prima, Petaloo, Magnolia and Wild Orchid Crafts. And I have used a cameo that I made myself at home using a mould I purchased off Etsy! The frame is a Prima frame that has no glass which is perfect for me as I like to try add lots of dimension to my pages.

Altered Birdhouse

Hello Scrapper's,

I hope you have all had a great weekend!

On a trip to a local Hardware Store a few days ago I was thrilled to find some gorgeous birdhouses made out of old fence palings! I had to buy them as birdhouses of these style, sizes and at the price of $20 does not happen much around here lol. So I grabbed two, both different ofcourse. I have only altered one as the other one is so nice I don't know if I will touch it or not yet lol. Here are pics:

I have altered the green birdhouse. Check out the finished product in the pics below!

This was so much fun to decorate and alter. I had to raid some seriously rough sand paper from hubbys garage for this one. And I must say my poor Tim Holtz Distress Stains sponge tops took a beating from bring used on the timber roof lol! I was picking huge splinters out of the sponges lol.

I have used mainly gorgeous Prima products like the ornate metal frame and gate which I have distressed. The flower vine is prima as are the brown flowers and nest with eggs. I have used Tim Holtz tissue paper to cover the birdhouse, this stuff is seriously fun to use and so easy to adhere to anything with some Modge Podge.

My Mind's Eye Mini Album

Hello Scrapper's,

Wowee!! Where has January gone?? I can't keep up with this year already!

CHA is over and I have not stopped drooling over all the youtube video's taken from CHA with all the new gorgeous and genius products that will be coming out way soon! My list of must have's grows everyday!

Tim Holtz is going to send me broke BIG time lol. I want a Sizzix Eclips now thanks to the man himself and his Stamp 2 Cut cartridges! Genius or what? And those Distress Markers!!!! OMG I have been dreaming of something like them for a while now! They will be great for colouring in my Magnolia images in a true Distress format!

And ofcourse there is my most favourite paper company EVER.....Graphic 45!!! They have some stunning new Collections that I am dying to get my hands onto. It is so annoying having all these idea's and not being able to do them as the paper isn't released yet lol! Patience patience :o) And don't forget if you haven't already heard Graphic 45 has their Design Team call out!!! Hello who has not been waiting for this?

Ok, enough of my ramblings. I do actually have a project to share today! In January it was my friend Honor's 40th Birthday, and so a very special birthday present was called for. And wonderful Honor's favourite colour is PINK! Just like me bless her soul as I love working with pink. So I made Honor a mini album using some gorgeous My Mind's Eye papers and stunning Prima!

Above is a picture of the cover of the mini album. I have used Dusty Attic chipboard alpha's, Cheery Lyn heart die, Magnolia fence Doo Hickey, Prima flowers and nest and a cute little white frame in which Honor can slide a picture behind.

Once again there is more Prima on the above page, and all photo mats were made using a Spellbinders Die.

This page above has a funny story! A day or two after I made this page I saw Honor and she had commented on how much she hated these Prima resin birds lol, as she had been packing them in kits. I was shattered as when I glue something down, I glue it down to not come off ever again. lol. Well, I thinks he likes the birds now :o)

This page above is very simple, but that is because the background paper is a bit busy. So I just put a couple of photo mats on, and some Prima.

Above I have used one of the new Magnolia's from the Valentines day collection, Prima, Cheery Lyn Design heart die.

And ofcourse on the last page another coloured Magnolia image with Prima and a Doo Hickey fence! It was so nice to make a special album for a person who I know fully appreciates the time and effort that goes into something like this :o)

Now, I promise today I will be taking a photo of some Blog Candy and it will be uploaded to my blog tomorrow!!!! This is my first blog candy ever!!!! Very exciting!!

Magnolia Engagement Card

Yes I know your probably all in shock, this is my 3rd post in two days lol! I might just be on a roll here :o)

Today I am sharing a engagement card I was asked to make! Ofcourse it is pink and features Magnolia's coloured in Copic Marker's.... I do love pink you know!

I have used some of the gorgeous New Magnolia pattern papers and ofcourse some Prima flowers and embellishments. The gorgeous heart die is from Cheery Lynn and boy am I getting my monies worth out of that. I love it!

Hummingbird Projects

Firstly is the new Marker Stand! I am still shocked that this Marker stand exists as I helped the wonderful Melissa Kennedy come up with it's design! Very exciting to see something come to fruition.

And ofcourse some cards!

I have finally gotten my act together and finally done this blogpost lol.
I have not been motivated to do anything for about a month or so, and that includes avoiding updating this poor neglected blog!

So finally here are some cards I made for Kaisercraft using one of their January releases Lil Primrose. You may have already seen them in the Kaisercraft Workshop magazine. Most of these cards also feature the Lil Primrose Stamps which I have coloured with Copic Markers.

Vicki's Bday Card

Hello Scrapper's,

I hope you have all been well and are having a fantastic start to the New Year!

I have been MIA for a while and haven't posted anything except my mixed media canvas, but as anyone will know if you read or follow my blog at all I resigned from the Kaisercraft DT at the end of 2011, and therefore I have been having a bit of a scrapping rest which has been lovely.

Today I just have a quick card to share. It was Vicki from Chandon Craft's birthday last friday and so this is the card I made for her. I have used the new Sweet Love Paper collection from Magnolia. I love this paper line, so very nice and distressed looking! And ofcourse I brought nearly the whole stamp collection as well, ow dear!! lol.

Also have you seen the first sneak peak for the new Graphic 45 paper???? It is absolutely stunning! It is called "Little Darlings" and I cannot wait for that collection, I have a million idea's already!! Here is a link incase you haven't checked it out:

Mixed Media Attempt

Happy Boxing Day Scrapper's,

I worked all day today but last night I finished my first ever mixed media canvas!! I have been dying to experiment for a while with theses types of things, but DT and life commitments have just been getting in the way. There is nothing worse then having a million idea's and not having any time to create any of them!!

So here it is:

A local variety store had 12inch x 12 inch stretched canvases for $4.50! What a bargin! When I got home I realised this size would also be brilliant for shadow boxes too. So I think I will have to go buy all their stock lol.

I have used a picture of my Nana from when she was little and the new Tim Holtz Tissue paper. The bricks were left overs from a Dusty Attic Brick wall and I've also used my Tim Holtz Sizzix Weathered Clock die.

I was really just experimenting with texture paste, gesso, Glimmermist, Shimmerz and Rub n Buff. But I am thrilled with how it has turned out, especially as this is my first attempt!

Anyway any feedback you all have on this first attempt at mixed media art would be greatly appreciated :o)

I am back today to share my December Kaisercraft projects featuring the New "Sweet Nothings" Collection. I love love love this collection and believe it is Kaiser's best collection to date! So here are my projects....

The layout above features my friends Craig and Jayne on their wedding day. They are a gorgeous couple and I knew these papers would be perfect for this photo!

On The Move!!!!

Thank God It's Friday!!!

And thank god I don't have to do any last minute christmas present buying lol. I am getting up super early tomorrow to go to the Supermarket for a few food items and then staying well clear of the shops! We all know how people panic when a public holiday is looming lol, it's like they fear the shops will never open again :o)

I am back today to share one of my last project ranges with you as a Kaisercraft Design Team member. Due to a lack of time and work commitments I had no choice but to resign from my Kaisercraft DT position :o( It has been very exciting getting to play with all the new ranges the extremely creative girls at Kaisercraft have come up with and I know there are many more coming :o)

So today's projects are made using the December "On The Move" Collection!

I was so excited when I saw this collection as hubby and I own this 1932 Ford Roadster! And it just matched the paper perfectly even right down to the colour of our Hot Rod lol. I love driving in this car with all the sounds of the open road and the sound of the V8 motor and the sound of the gilmer belt!

And so it was easy to create a couple of cards that would be suited to boys of all ages with these papers too.

And below I have decorated one of the 18 BTP albums from Kaisercraft with the "On The Move" collection as I thought this would be a great idea for 18 year old who has just gotten their licence and is having a birthday party too for people to write messages in.

So they are my projects for the "On The Move" Collection. Tomorrow I will be back to share my projects using the December Release of "Sweet Nothings" which I have to say I think is Kaisers best EVER range of papers and embellishments!!!

Magnolia Gift Bags

Hello Scrapper's,

It has been a while again since I have posted any projects. Gee doesn't time get away from you at this time of the year! I hope all your Christmas preperations are going well and that your all ready for the jolly man in the big red suit!

Today the girls at my local scrapbook store Chandon Craft sat down and exchanged our Christmas gifts we had brought each other. It was great fun and the girls spoiled me with some lovely goodies! We also got some photo's taken which I was absolutely shattered about as I was in my comfy clothes with no make up lol. Isn't that always the way lol. Anyway I made some Magnolia gift bags for two of the girls and took some photos before I gave them to them to share here on my blog.

I have used the Magnolia stamps from the new Christmas Collection and the tree and start Doo Hickey from the Christmas Collection. The doily die is from Cheery Lyn.

I have used Aleene's Glitter Snow.

And the red Copics I used were R35, 37, 39, 59.

Imaginarium Chipboard DT Application

Warning!! Photo heavy blog post!!

This blog post is my application for the Imaginarium Designs 2012 Design Team!

I love chipboard and I am a huge fan of Jane Tregenza's work, and I would love to be on the Imaginarium Designs 2012 Design Team naturally :o)

In my first project I have used a Twiddley Bitz chipboard mini album also featuring a Twiddley Bitz chipboard lampost, Maya Road chipboard penant banners and chipboard trees.

On the left page below I have used chipboard bricks from a Dusty Attic brickwall piece.

Below's layout features Kaisercraft Iron Gates on which I have used Distress Ink and Distress Embossing powder.

Below I have used a Twiddley Bitz Shadowbox to create this Steampunk piece. I have also made my own chipboard embellishments using Tim Holtz Gadget Gears sizzix die.

Below I have used a Twiddley Bitz chipboard frame kit.

In this mini album I have used a Dusty Attic chipboard fence and also a Dusty Attic chipboard gate. I have used jump rings to connect the gate to the fence which also enables them to open up.

See the gates open in the picutre below.

I love working with shadowboxes and have again used a Twiddley Bitz shadowbox for my project below. I have also used Kaisercraft chipboard sign, Dusty Attic park bench, lampost, gates and fence.

Inspired by the brilliant Candy Rosenburg and her visit to my local scrapbook store, I created Estelle the Steampunk Dressform. I have used Tim Holtz Gadget Gears sizzix die to create chipboard embellishments for this piece, which I have then applied Distress Inks and Distress Embossing Powder too.

Below I have created my own shadowbox from an old frame and sheets of chipboard. I have also used a Twiddley Bitz chipboard church, Kaisercraft gates, fence and lampost and some Maya Road Pennants.

Below I have decorated the new 25 Treasure Chest Drawers from Kaisercraft and I have converted some of the chipboard drawers into little shadowboxes. I have also used chipboard gates on the bottom drawers and decorated the sides of the unit.

I also use chipboard on my cards. On this card below I have used Maya Road chipboard penants that are just the perfect size for a card.

More Kaiser Projects

Hello Scrapper's,

I am back to share the rest of my November Kaisercraft DT projects with you :o)

In November the Madame Boutique Collection was released, and naturally I loved all the brown tones with these papers and the vintage images!

So the first project I created was this Sewing Box as pictured below. I just love antique sewing machines and thought it would be fun to make a sewing box with this gorgeous collection.

I also made a Ribbon Dispenser with these papers to match my Sewing Box. I just love the new Kaisercraft Resin Blossoms! I have also used some Maya Road Mini Spools with Kaisercraft lace wrapped around on the lid of this Ribbon Dispenser.

And ofcourse I had to create a couple of cards too. I love the new Wood Flourish Cameo and Frame! I have simpy inked them up with Walnut Stain Ink for the card on the left. Both cards feature patterened paper from the Madame Boutique Paper Pad!

I hope you like these projects and can find some sort of inspiration from them! I can't wait to share my December Kaisercraft projects with you, but that will be just before christmas! The layout is definately worth the wait, I was quite proud of that :o)

Sorry for MIA

Hello Scrapper's,

I must apologise for MIA the last few weeks or so!!

I have totally and completely lost all of my scrapbooking mojo! I am a bit burnt out and therefore I haven't wanted to enter my scraproom let alone meet deadlines. So needless to say I didn't want to really do a blog post about scrapping lol.

I thought I would be good and finally update this poor neglected blog of mine with my most recent Kaisercraft projects. They have already been featured on the Kaisercraft blog but incase you missed them here are my projects from the very cute Cock-a-doodle-doo Collection!

Below is my precious Labrador Belle Precious! I kind of felt guilty putting the heading "My Best Mate" on there as it is a bit of a lie! I have two best mates,they are Belle and her sister Missy! lol. I'm sure she will forgive me though. I love this photo of Belle. I took it myself lol, I'm not too good at taking photo's so this was a fluke. Look at her gorgeous smile!!

And I decided to make a sign for their bedroom door. Yes, my Labradors have their own bedroom. That is one of the perks of not having any children, I have room for my pets inside lol. They live like little queens. And yes, Belle's name is spelt wrong but what can I say?? I ran out of "e's" lol.

And below is a project I decorated with the Merry Medley Collection from Kaisercraft. I have used one of my favourite Tim Holtz stamps in the middle.

I will be back in the next day or two to share some more Kaisercraft projects with you all. And who knows, I might even get re energised with my scrapping and have some beauty of a project to share lol, well here is hoping.

Beyond The Page Kaisercraft

Hello Scrapper's,

Thank god it's Friday!! I finally have a day off after working 7 days straight lol. And today I am sharing more of my Kaisercraft Bonjour and 13th Hour Collection projects!

Today I'm happy to be sharing my Beyond The Page projects with you.

Firstly I'd like to share my Bonjour Collection BTP project. I found this little case in the sewing section at Spotlight. It had a yucky purple fashion print on it but the price was fantastic, just $7.95. Where as if I had of purchased one from the Craft section that was just plain old paper mache I would have had to pay $17.95. So ofcourse I was more then happy to get out my Gesso white paint to cover the yucky pattern lol.

The handles are a gorgeous brass agd look too. I used various papers from the Bonjour Collection and applied them to the case using Modge Podge and heavily inked the edges of the case and the paper with Tim Holtz Walnut Ink.

I wanted this case to look used and old and I think the ink has really helped achieve that look. I also covered every surface on the inside of the case with the Bonjour Collection.

Below is my 13th Hour Collection BTP.

I created a Haunted House Mini Album using the Princess Castle album from Kaisercraft. This collection was so much fun to work with to create Halloween projects! I used a Martha Stewart punch to create a tiled roof on the turrets and bent the punched pattern upwards.

I used some of the 13th Hour Sticker sheet and chipboard pieces to decorate the cover!

Kaisercraft DT Cards

Yes, it is Wednesday! The middle of the week or as I call it "hump" day!

I am back just as I said I would be to share my two Kaisercraft DT cards featuring the Bonjour and 13th Hour paper collections.

I saw the pink polka paper in the Bonjour range and knew I just had to make a New Baby Girl card! I have used a gorgeous Magnolia baby stamp and Copic Markers to colour my Magnolia image. And the banner on this card is made using the Magnolia Doo Hickey Die, it is sooo handy!

And ofcourse no card is fully complete without a matching box envelope to fit those gorgeous flower embellishments into!

Next, is my 13th Hour Collection card!

I was thrilled to have the chance to make a Halloween Card. In Australia I've never known anyone who is into Halloween. I can't even remember the last time I heard a knock on my door by kids trick or treating unfortunately, but I didn't care. I wanted to do something for Halloween.

I have used a Magnolia Witch stamp and a Magnolia Halloween sentiment stamp too.

The bats are from Prima and came in a pack of 3. They are very cute. And I have used a Martha Stewart punch around the page punch to give a wrought iron look. I have also coloured this Magnolia Witch image with Copic Markers.

I wanted to decorate the inside a little, so I added some papers from the collection and used one of the Tags to stamp the Halloween Sentiment onto. The plastic spiders are from Lombards Party shop and were very cheap, but add a good touch to the card.

Magnolia Gift Bag

Hello Scrapper's,

I'm back again with another quick project to share!

Those of you who know me well, know that I LOVE Magnolia stamps, not to mention the Fabulous Magnolia Doo Hickeys!! So I created a gorgeous gift bag for a Birthday, but also thought this idea could be used for Christmas seen as it realy isn't that far away. Scary thought isn't it??

I also love pink, so I used the Ballerina Magnolia Stamp and coloured her in with Copics R21, R20, R11.

I used my Dragonfly Magnolia Doo Hickey, Doily Flower Magnolia Doo Hickey and a tag Magnolia Doo Hickey as well to help decorate my bag. This was also the first time I had used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Victoiran Velvet, and I must say I love it!!

Anyway I hope I have provided a little inspiration for you all. Happy Crafting!

Simple Stories Mini

I have a mini album to share with you all today. As some of you may remember I designed a 3 page class for Chandon Craft using the gorgeous "Generations" paper collection from Simple Stories. Well, there were alot of left over's from that class so I decided to use as much of the scraps as possible to put together a quick little Family mini album.

Those who know me well, know I LOVE Twiddley Bitz chipboard creations! Including their "Altered Page" chipboard book HERE!

I hope your all having a great weekend!

I have a card I was commissioned to make today that I am excited to share. I have used the gorgeous My Minds Eye-Lost & Found-Union Square papers. I love MME and I love this range! It is so darn cute. I used my 6x6paper pad and it is starting to look empty, I think I'll have to see if I can find another one lol. I buy so many MME papers and paper pads but rarely use them as they are so pretty I don't want to lol.

Anyway here is my card:

I have used Bazzil Bling cardstock for the base and was upset when I realised I had no red roses to put on my card lol. So I used my deep red Aster flowers from Wild Orchid Craft.

I had to make a matching envelope. I have used red German Glass Glitter on the little red love hearts. I love that stuff!

Almost No Lines...

Hello Scrapper's,

I apologise to all my followers for the lack of posting in the last few weeks!

I just handed in 22 projects the other day for one of my DT's and there is a huge pile of other things still waiting. So I don't have anything I can share right now, well, not a finished project anyway. But I did colour some images tonight as I have a baby girl card order.

I decided to try colouring one of the Magnolia baby images with no lines. To see what I mean (done propertly lol) go to Make It Crafty's blog HERE and check out Zoe's amazing colouring and to see what I mean by no lines. I will have to try stamping in a pale blue ink next time as this time I used Memento London Fog and it is still too dark.

I haven't coloured for a long time so please don't be too harsh in your criticisms lol. I must find more time to practice. Also check out this link to Zoe's awesome card with no lines on the Make It Crafty Blog HERE, the image in this post took her hours and I don't know where she has that patience lol.

My Hubby's First OTP Project!!!

I have a special treat for you all today!!!

Some of you who follow my blog may remember I have previously posted pics of some cards my hubby has made. Well, he has gone above and beyond this time creating a Off The Page projects all in the name of winning some scrapbooking goodies lol!

Chandon Craft my local scrap store had a Prima competition running and he decided to enter! The requirement was to use anything Prima! Well, my husband decided my scraproom was fair game lol. Although he did have a hell of a time trying to guess which flowers in my scraproom were Prima and which weren't. Afterall he does call my scraproom a "florist" as I have that many flowers on stand by.

He took great pride in creating this new Kaisercraft Letter holder. He chose to use some Prima papers from one of my 6x6 paper pads and ofcourse some Prima flowers once I finally showed him which ones they were.

He even printed off pictures of postage stamps from the internet as it is a letter holder afterall and should look like one. And at the bottom where there are some hanging pegs for keys etc, he even took the time to find some paper that had keys on it to signify this! He used Gesso, Modge Podge, Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Ink Blending Tool, he was right into it.

Needless to say he has won a prize for his handywork! I am scared that when he picks it up he will be demanding his own little corner in my craftroom lol. My Final Berry Bleu Reveal!!

Today I am sharing my last Berry Bleu Design Team project as my time with Berry Bleu has come to an end. It has been fantastic being a Berry Bleu girl! The owner Marivic is an absolute gem and her Tag and Layout designs are truly gorgeous! Really you must take the time to visit her online store HERE to check them out for yourself!

I was lucky enough to get a beautiful yellow coloured Tag from Marivic for my very last DT layout. I was thrilled with this as I have had these gorgeous daffodil flowers for a long time and I have just been wating for the perfect opportunity to use them. They match the photo perfectly, it is a photo of my friend Danie's little girl. The day this photo was taking they were picking daffodil flowers from there garden and Danie's gorgeous little girl has some in her hair :o) Thanks for letting me use this gorgeous photo Danie :o)

Generations Class

I am so excited to share this class with you today. This is a 3 page layout class and it was a dream to work with these gorgeous papers from a relatively new company called "Simple Stories". This is their "Generations" collection and I am in love with it lol. It is just devine and I love the rich intense colours! This is a class not to be missed!

This first layout features a house that my Grandparents used to live in.

And below is a layout with a photo of my Grandfather 'George', I love that name George it isn't used much these days :o) He looks like such a sharply dressed young man in this pic.

Christmas Card

I hope you are all well!!

I apologise for my lack of posts lately, I have been extremely busy with DT projects. A total of 33 infact and all due by the end of September, right on my birthday lol!

I finally have something I can share today. I have created a new Christmas card class that I will be teaching at Chandon Craft in Geelong. I have used the New Kaisercraft December 25th paper collection to make this card. I love heritage Christmas papers. But, then again I love anything that looks old lol.

As you can see, the front of my card looks a bit boring, but then when you open the card the magic begins!!

Candy Rosenburg Visit

Hello Scrapper's,

On Tuesday 23rd of August Miss Candy Rosenburg came to the local scrapping store I teach at (Chandon Craft) to teach two workshops on her Australian tour! I haven't had a chance to share some pics and tell you all about the day until now!

There are only a few people in the scrapping world who have true artistic style that I fully appreciate and I can only aspire to get to a level similar to theirs one day and one of those people is Candy! I have been a follower of Candy's work for a while and was thrilled when I heard she was headed down under!

As some of you may have seen on my blog a while ago, Candy's visit inspired me to attempt decorating a dress form as Candy herself has done many times. Chandon Craft even ran a competition to name our Candy inspired dress form it was fantastic! The dress form ended up being named Estelle.

Meeting Candy was fantastic, I was greeted with a big hug and that was a lovely surprise! Her classes were full of technique and tips and wonderful stories. If only we had our own Candy down her in Australia lol. I must admit I did ask Candy if she could move to Australia lol, no harm in trying. Her husband John was as equally lovely as Candy and very knowledgable. I was lucky enough to have dinner with Candy, John and the manager and owner of Chandon Craft. It was lovely and I thank them for the experience.

Candy was nice enough to pose with myself and Estelle the dress form :o)

On the same day as Candy's visit my husband had finished making a card of his own. Yes, my husband is very intersted in scrapbooking and papercrafts. Although mainly the techinical side eg. measurements and mechanics of getting things to work lol. Which works well for me as I just like to make things and worry about measurments etc later.

This time my husband made a Pop Up christmas card all by himself! He went onto google images and typed in "pop up christmas cards" and looked at the images and made a pop up card from there lol. I must say I was very impressed and I had to share his talents with Candy and her husband when they were at the shop. Candy was again nice enough to pose for a photo with my husbands card and I have to tell you he was thrilled lol.

He was even happier when a few days later a customer asked if his card was going to be a class at the store lol.

Berry Bleu September Reveal

Today I am sharing my Berry Bleu September DT reveal!

I have put together a layout featuring a gorgeous Tag from Berry Bleu's Etsy Store that says "Cupcake"! I had the perfect picture of me when I was little to put on this layout. And no, I certainly was not a little cupcake, I was a little terror lol!

And ofcourse there is a new Challenge as it is a new month!!

This month's challenge is to use the colours pink and mint on your project along with at least 3 hand made flowers!

Miss Nelly Gift/Jewellery Box

Hello Scrapper's,

Today I have a beyond the page project to share that I have created using the new Kaisercraft Miss Nelly collection.

I love decorating little gift boxes that can be used for almost anything, even as jewellery boxes. I found this box at one of the $2 type of stores and it was just lovely plain wood. I used a phillips head screwdriver to get the hinges and latch off first before painting it. This is much easier then tryin to paint around the hinges etc. And painting over them only looks messy later on.

I just painted the inside and outside of the box with 1 generous coat of white gesso, then measured the sides and cut my paper out to suit. I adhered my paper with Modge Podge. I love Modge Podge!!

As you can see the lid has a glass section in the middle, and I chose to use one of the coloured Miss Nelly Rub Ons in the centre of the glass. I also used Rub Ons to border the glass and to protect the Rub Ons that border the glass I painted over it with Modge Podge as well.

Miss Nelly Card

Today I can finally share a card I made using the New Miss Nelly collection from Kaisercraft! Ofcourse I had to feature a gorgeous Magnolia stamp on my card too lol!

What A Catch!!

I'm back with layout this evening using the New Kaisercraft Hunt & Gather papers!

My layout features a pic of my friend Julie in her fishing gear. Julie is quite the fisher lady it seems, as soon you will see her featured in another layout of mine, except she is in a pic where she is kissing a fish! YUCK! lol.

These papers are so much fun to work with, I could make a heap more projects using this paper before I would even get tired of them. This layout was also on display at the Summer CHA. You can see it in the pic below on the bottom right hand side! Very exciting.

Off The Page!!

WARNING: Photo Heavy Post!!!

Hello Scrapper's,

I am so excited to finally be able to share this off the page creation! I made this up for the Summer CHA for Kaisercraft. It is so exciting knowing this was on show at the CHA!

It is the 25 Drawer Treasure Chest that will be available from Kaisercraft in September! It would be perfect for a Advent Calendar too :o) I have decorated this project with the New Hunt & Gather papers from Kaisercraft and painted the outside with Kaisercraft paint and crackle medium. I love all the cracks, it just seems to suit the papers.

I decided to turn some of the drawers onto their sides and make mini shadow boxes out of them. This one features some Spanish Moss, fake bird eggs and some spun cotton mushrooms that were red which didn't suit my project. So I used some Alcohol Ink to change the colour a bit.

This mini shadow box features Spanish Moss, Kaisercraft mini doily, tiny half pot and Kaisercrafts New Mini Blooms.

I love birdcages, eggs etc. So I have used one of the mini rustic birdhouses in this shadowbox which I have hanging from the top by a brad I poked through the drawer. The bird sticker is from the Hunt & Gather sticker sheet.

This is the right hand side of the Drawer unit. I decided to leave the wooden flourishes in their natural colour.

I"ve also used Kaisercraft lace and new Sparklets on the drawers.

On the top of the unit I have used Kaisercraft Doilies, spun cotton mushrooms, Kaisercraft paper blooms and mini blooms and I also cut my own leaves from some hessian to blend in with the natural elements of the project.

I just had to share this picture of the back of the project and that awesome cracked paint! Don't you just love it?? It is so addictive and terribly easy. I am thinking of painting and cracking an entire set of chested drawers in my craft room now lol.

Hunt & Gather

Hello Scrapper's,

Today I am sharing a card I have created using the New Kaisercraft Hunt & Gather Collection! I LOVE this collection! I love browns, I love greens! So I was in heaven using this range!

I have created a Easel Card using a brown cardstock base with all paper edges distressed as usual lol. The paper I have used is the Hunt & Gather paper pad and I have used glossy accents on the fish and bear pic at the top of the card.

I was lucky enough to find some little square of hessian at one of my local scrap stores and it works perfectly with these papers and some jute twine.

I also decorated the inside of the card using the Hunt & Gather clear stamps with some Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink. A great father's day card.

This card was on show at the Summer CHA! It has always been a dream of mine to have some work featured there and this year I had several pieces on display. I will be sharing more of them before the end of the month :o)

Kaisercraft Miss Nelly

I am thrilled the Kaisercraft blog is back up and running and full of inspirational work from all the girl's on the DT. So today I am sharing my layout featuring the New Kaisercraft Miss Nelly papers! This layout was so much fun to work on. My friend Danie let me use some very cute pics of her daughter putting on some little kiddy high heels lol. How adorable is she??

I'm just loving the 12x12 sticker sheets Kaisercraft now has for each of it's ranges! Makes embellishing so easy! But don't forget to use some foam dots inbetween stickers for a layered look :o) For those of you who know me and my scrapbooking style well, I would like you to congratulate me for using a ink other then the usual Tim Holtz Distress Walnut Stain lol. That is what I use all the time, I am highly addicted to it. For this layout I have used a bright pink ink which I actually don't mind at all. I am even thinking of inking in the future with different colours lol :o)

Today is Berry Bleu Design Team Reveal day! Where all the wonderful Design Team memebers for Berry Bleu reveal our latest scrapping creations featuring Berry Bleu's gorgeous tags!

The Berry Bleu tag is featured on the bottom left hand side of my layout. I have drawn total inspiration for my layout from this tag. I rarely work with the colour purple, it's not that I don't like it, it's just that I never think to use it lol.

Were Off To See The Wizard!!

Thank God It's Friday!

Well, not really lol, as today was my first day back at work after a week off and I spent the last 3 days in bed sick lol. Anywho, enough whinging. Today I am here to share my latest class design for Chandon Craft. Who doesn't love the gorgeous "Magic Of Oz" papers from Graphic 45?? I was thrilled when I saw these papers, they are so much fun, with such gorgeous images!

Above is a step card I have made using the "Magic of Oz" papers and below is a layout. Both the card and layout have been created for the one class on Wednesday 7th of September at Chandon Craft.

The class costs $24.95 from 10.30am til 12.30pm.

Meet Estelle

Today I have something different to share with you all!

As most of you know Candy Rosenburg-Graphic 45 Educator, Ranger Certified Educator, Copic Certified Designer and Tattered Angels Educator is coming to Australia to teach two Brilliant classes!!

Candy is teaching two classes at Chandon Craft on Tuesday 23rd August!

To celebrate this I felt the urge to decorate a dress form totally inspired by Candy's work! Candy loves dress forms, corsets etc and I have seen pictures of her own decorated dress forms. So I decided to have a try myself and this is what I came up with.

So Chandon Craft had a competition last week to name my dress form in honour of Candy Rosenburg coming to teach at Chandon. A lovely lady called Carmel won the competition, and the name she chose was "Estelle"

see below her reason for choosing this name:

"I have chosen this name because like the word mannequin it comes from the French before the Latin. Also it has the meaning STAR and we all know that in the off the page creations Cassie is a star so Estelle would be VERY appropriate"

We were all very impressed with the effort Carmel took to choose a name for our dress form, and Carmel won a huge prize pack. Enjoy your goodies Carmel!!

I modge podged some Steampunk Debutante images to the skirt.

I have die cut some grungeboard cogs and then used Distress Embossing Powder.

I hope you all like my dress form and her new name!

In spring or summer I might even make her a new bright dress lol.

Life Is Good Layout

I"m back again!!

I've had lots of finished work I could finally share this week, but after this you probably won't hear from me for a few weeks lol, as I go into lock down mode again creating :o)

This layout is featuring my Grandmother when she was very young indeed! We don't even know who the baby is lol. But, I just love these old photo's. I have used the new Anna Griffin "Francesca" papers to create this layout.

We are in August now and I thought it was definately time to start getting into gear creating a calendar for next year!!! We always have good intentions, but somehow time seems to catch up with us. So let's all get organised and create a calendar with plenty of time to spare.

I have used a Maya Road calendar and the gorgeous pattern papers used throughout this calendar are Jenni Bowlin's "Haven" colletion!

You can also add your own photo's to this calendar for a more personal touch and even give it to someone for christmas as a beautiful handmade gift.

Berry Bleu Reveal

Hello Scrapper's,

Can you believe it is August?? I know I am in complete denial lol. I even think I should start thinking about doing some early christmas shopping, arggghhhhh how scary lol.

Well, as today is 1st of August it is time for another Berry Bleu Design Team Reveal! I have created a layout using mainly blue's this time, which is something totally different for me. It is good to keep challenging yourself. As you can see on the bottom right hand corner is a gorgeous Tag created by Marivic-Berry Bleu's Tags and Pages owner! Her tags are super gorgeous and full of so much detail! Check out the Berry Bleu Wesbite HERE and become a member to use the forum, enter monthly challenges and visit Berry Bleu's online Etsy store.

The picture I have used is of my Grandmother and her sister. I love these old family photo's, I just wish we had more. I have used some Kaisercraft Rhinestones in the corners of the layout, I usually use pearl, but the Rhinstones add some bling to the page.

"No Place Like Home" Mixed Media Album

The first workshop is "No Place Like Home" a mixed media album that is perfect to document a family holiday or tradition. We will be using Graphic45's brand new "Magic of Oz" paper collection along with products from Basically Bare, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, May Arts, Ranger, Imaginarium Designs, The Rubber Cafe and Flourish with a Bling! This kit is to die for, it is jam packed with lots of wonderful elements that we will be layering throughout this book!

We will be going on a mixed media journey doing lots of layering, distressing and inking!

"Treasured Memories...The Past" Mixed Media Album Workshop

It is no secret that I love "Steampunk" and heritage inspired projects and our Treasured Memories...The Past is the perfect album for this. Using the new "Funky Findings" mixed media album from Basically Bare!

We will be using Graphic45's "Steampunk Debutante" paper collection along with products from Basically Bare, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, May Arts, Ranger, Imaginarium Designs, The Rubber Cafe, Flourish with a Bling and Vintage Street Market! We will do some serious layering and inking in true steampunk style.

Hello Scrapper's,

I have finally found some pics and a video featuring some of the projects I created for Kaisercraft's stand at the CHA for Summer 2011!

In the picture below there are 5 of my projects featured.

On the top shelf the birdhouse on the right hand side and the filmstrip frame to the left of it. On the second shelf 10" frame (lady kissing fish picture) and the 25 drawer treasure chest unit. And if you look in the very bottom right hand side of the picture you cand see part of a card I created too lol. I created all these projects using the New Hunt & Gather Collection. I love this collection, brown and green are two of my favourite colours.

And in the picture below on the right hand side top shelf one of my cards is featured using one of the new Christmas ranges.

I always dreamed of having some projects on display at CHA, but never would have thought it would happen! This has made my year. Ofcourse the only thing that could have been better would have been being in Chicage for the CHA instead lol. One day maybe, you never know....

True Friendship

I am sharing a layout today using the new Kaisercraft Blae & Ivy paper collection. I love this collection, it was so easy to work with and i just love green.

The sentiment on the paper reading "True Friends Needs No Words" was extremely appropriate for the friendship I share with my gorgeous two Labradors, so it was hard to just choose one of them for the layout lol. I chose Belle because I hardly ever scrap layouts with her. She is black, so it is hard to get good photo's etc. But this one is cute I must say :o)

I've created the frame for her picture using one of Martha Stewarts Around The Page Punches. I love those!

I love the butterflies flying over the layout.

Today I have a card to share that I have created using the new Little Toot collection from Kaisercraft. This collection is alot of fun and so colourful.

I chose to make an Easel card and have used coloured Rub ons for the first time ever, and I loved them! lol. They are so cute and you can create your own scene as I have below.

I have used the Little Toot mini journal tag to stamp the Birthday sentiment on.

I will have more creations to share tomorrow featuring some more Kaisercraft goodies!

I'm here sharing another class layout with you all today. I've only had time to scrap classes at the moment and nothing else lol.

This layout is called "Debutante". It was a layout I created for the Kaisercraft Top 25 finalists projects and it helped me gain a spot on the 2011-2012 Kaisercraft Design Team.

Because I have had such wonderful feedback on this layout I thought it would be great for a class. The photo is of my Grandmother at her debut. But this type of distressed, vintage inspired layout can hold photo's for many more occasions of just family photo's that we treasure most.

I am so so over the moon!! Candy Rosenburg is coming to my local scrapping store Chandon Craft!!!

If you don't know who Candy is then I wonder if you have been living under a rock, lol. Candy is a Educator for Graphic 45, Tattered Angels, Basically Bare, Copic Markers and the brilliant Ranger products.

Candy's work is breathtaking! You can check out Candy's blog which shows her beautiful work HERE. Candy will be teaching two classes at Chandon Craft, one using Graphic 45's new gorgeous "Magic Of Oz" papers and the other using Graphic 45's "Steampunk Debutante" papers.

Both albums will be made in two, three hour classes.

Berry Bleu Layout

I have a layout to share today, YAY finally something I can share lol. I have been creating so much stuff lately but have not been able to share it all yet. But, I promise good things come to those that wait :o)

Shadow Box Double Class

Hello Scrapper's,

There is lots going on in the scrapping world right now!! How exciting is it to see the CHA previews everywhere, but ofcourse my two favourites are always Tim Holtz and the goodies he has and Graphic 45!!! I just adore Graphic 45 papers, if you have Graphic 45 papers you don't really need to add any embellishments lol.

Today I am sharing information and pics of one of my lastest classes I have decided for Chandon Craft.

This class is full of technique! We will decorate and embellish a 12x12 shadow box in a class that will be run over two Saturdays. It is a two part class due to the amount of techniques and the drying time required. You will learn how to make your frames look antique with crackle paint, learn about Glimmermist and Glimmer Glam, use a mask to create the gorgeous Prima Mistables canvas background and learn how to alter your embellishments with Distress Stains.

It was so much fun creating this class and I just hope the participants enjoy making this project as much as I did.

Date for this class are Saturday 13th August and Saturday 20th August.

Time: 10.30am til 12.30pm

Cost: $24.95 for each day

Absolutely everything is included in the cost, all you need to do is bring yourself and a photo.

Copic Class

I have used a gorgeous Magnolia stamp and MME pattern papers (one of my absolute favourite papers) and a gorgeous Martha Stewart paper punch.

In this class you will use Copics to colour in the Magnolia image using BG and YR colour groups. You can use this as a card or an invite, it is up to you!

My First Tent Card

Berry Bleu Layout

I hope you have all been well.

I must apologise for my lack of posts, however I have been and still am flat out. Between creating projects for CHA, designing classes and my other DT commitments I haven't had much time to make projects I can share right now!. However I promise there are lots of goodies coming in the near future I will be able to share.

Today I am sharing my latest layout for Berry Bleu's DT reveal!

I've never scrapped an image of my Great Grandparents before, but when I saw the gorgeous tag from Berry Bleu's I knew I had to use it on this layout. The gorgeous gold Eiffel Tower represents "love" as far as I am concerned lol. And how gorgeous are my Great Grandparents in this photo.

I was lucky enough to find some gorgeous pink striped paper to match the pink stripes on the Berry Bleu tag too, so that ties in nicely!

Christmas In July

Just a quick post today to share some pictures and info on a card class I will be teaching at Chandon Craft. It's never too early to start getting ready for christmas in the world of craft! So at Chandon we have decided to help get you on track to an easy crafting christmas, and getting you into making some christmas cards.

The first card is a Flower Pot card holding Poinsenttia's. I have created the flowers using the Magnolia Poinsettia Doo Hickey Die. And ofcourse there has to be a little christmas Tilda sitting on the pot!

The next is a Treat Card. You can stick or staple a bag of little Christmas treats in your card.

Isn't Santa Edwin precious reading his naughty and nice list?

Both cards are made in the same class on Tuesday 19th July at Chandon Craft. Class starts at 6.30-8.30pm.

Sew Easy 2 Love Mini

I am so excited to finally have a new project to share with you all!!

This project isn't for a design team, it isn't for a class. This was a project for me and my hubby. I was married nearly 6 years ago now, but have never really scrapped photo's from that special day. So I decided when I saw this Twiddley Bitz mini album and the gorgeous Pink Paislee-Butterfly Garden Collection I just knew they were a match made in heaven for a mini album.

Below is the cover.

Page 1. I have used Prima flowers and iamroses green leaves.

The alphabet stickers are from Kaisercraft.

I have used Tim Holtz Distress Crackle paint in Picket Fence on the intricate cuts of the album.

Each page I have edged with a dry brush and a small amount of Gesso. This made the edges feel like sandpaper, so then I just covered the entire mini album pages with Matte Modge Podge after adhering the paper.

I just loved the Maya Road sewing chipboard and Maya Road Mini thread spools, so I included them in the album. The mini thread spools have jute glued around them.

I also loved the accessories that went with the Butterfly Garden Collection. I have used the Baubles and Emphemera pieces.

I decided to try Muslim (I think that is what it is called lol) on this project. It just looks so nice around the edges of pictures and other images. It provides a softer look.

I used a mixture of ribbons around my binding rings, from lace to pleated.

If your still with me thanks for staying lol. This was a picture heavy post! But I wanted to share it all. I hope this has provided some of you with a little inspiration. It is never ever too late to scrap your beautiful memories!!

HUGE NEWS!!! Kaisercraft DT Announcement!!

Hello Scrapper's,

I have a HUGE announcement today!!

The 2011-2012 Kaisercraft Design Team has been announced and I made it!!! I am thrilled!!!

Now I can share with you all my DT application projects. I was sent a pack of goodies from Kaisercraft, including their new Velvet Ensemble Collection and their new Pink Gelato Collection and Trinket Box. Here is what I created!!

I just LOVE this Velvet Ensemble Collection! It is right up my alley with it's vintage look. I have scrapped a picture of my Nana in this layout. This picture is from her Debutante Ball and it just seemed perfect for the papers!

I'm not particarly keen on flat layouts so I have tried to add some dimension with foam dots on this page.

Below is the Trinket Box using Pink Gelato papers.

Anyone who knows me well, knows I love to ink the eges of everything these days lol. And I couldn't resist making a few mini albums to go into the drawers of this Trinket Box.

Berry Bleu First DT Project

Morning Scrapper's,

I am very excited today to share my first Berry Bleu's DT project with you all!

Berry Bleu's is a online etsy store owned by a lovely lady called "Marivic". Marivic makes absolutely stunning tags and pre made layouts for purchase in her Etsy store. She is also currently setting up a website to sell her goodies from which will also include a forum and her monthly Challenges which you can all enter and go in the draw to win some fab goodies!!!

In my layout below I have used one of Berry Bleu's gorgeous tags on the left hand side of my page. It has pink roses (my fav) and some adorable crochet looking ribbon around the edges. And dont you just love the pink seam binding ribbon too!!

Copic Class

Hello Scrapper's,

I finally have a card to share with you all!

This card pictured will be a Copic Colouring class at Chandon Craft. This is the first Copic class I have ever taught and I am super excited about it! I do love my Copic's and I have all my friends addicted to them lol. A girl can never have too many Copic markers I tell you. :o)

As you can see the card is a very simple Easel Card design. I wanted to keep it very simple so we had time to focus more on colouring the gorgeous Magnolia image.

This class is a 3 hour class, which is fantastic as we can dive right into the world of Copics. The class will be from 10.30am til 1.30pm

Cost for 3 hour class is $39.95

and everything is included!!

I hope your all off to a wonderful start to the week!

I apologise for my lack of posts this month. I have been busy working on my final round projects for the Kaisercraft Design Team Application. It was fantastic to make the Top 25, but the scary part is waiting now until June 10th to see if I made the team. However, it is a relief to have my projects finished and emailed safely :o)

I have been making alot of other projects too, however they are all for classes at Chandon Craft in Geelong and I will share them as soon as I can.

K & Co Blossomwood Shadowbox

Hello Scrapper's,

I'm back to share another Shadowbox class I will be teaching at my local scrapbooking store Chandon Craft. For this shadowbox we will be using the gorgeous K & Co Blossomwood Kit. As you can see I have featured my precious Labrador Missy in this shadowbox, isn't she just too cute??

And below is a picture of the inside of the shadow box. I have also used a gorgeous Martha Stewart around the page punch to frame the photo of Missy.

Shadow Box Class

On the 1st of June I am teaching a Shadow Box class at Chandon Craft here in Geelong. It is a cute nostalgic shadow box using October Afternoon papers, and a new Banner die from Tim Holtz.

Hi Scrapper's,

I am sorry it has been so long between posts :o(

I have been busy designing some classes for my local scrapping store and trying to get my final projects for the Kaisercraft Top 25 Design Team done. I am literally drowning at the moment in paper and embellishments lol. My poor poor scraproom lol.

I do have a card to share tonight, not one of my best, but we must try new things mustn't we. I have made a card requested by a fellow workmate who has just become a grandmother of two twin baby boys! I have been saving my Webster's pages for something special and this seemed fitting. I have never used Webster's pages before, I just seem to buy them and get to scared to use them lol.

So give me points for stepping out of my comfort zone on this card ok lol. I love the baby carriage image, it is sooo cute! I have made a matching envelope as well, so hopefull the person recieving this card likes it.

Anyway I will be back later in the week with some photo's of the classes I have been working on.

Hello my lovely followers,

I have extremely exciting news today!

I have made the Top 25 for the Kaisercraft Design Team Call!! Can you believe it! I am truly a bit gobsmacked really!

I want to thank each and everyone of you that has been so kind and left me lovely good luck and well wishing messages. So many of you told me I would make it to the top 25 and I did. Thank you all so so much for your support, it really does help me more then words can say :o)

News and Big Thanks

Evening Scrapper's,

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter break with all your family and friends and that the easter bunny visited everyone of you!! I worked all easter, but am looking foward to a day off tomorrow I can tell you lol.

I have some exciting news to share with you all. I submitted one of my shadow boxes to an online magazine called Scrapbook News & Review a month or so ago, and recieved an email last week saying my application was successful!! I was thrilled ofcourse. The online mag became available on Sunday 24th and I got to see my first ever published work!! I don't really submit projects to magazines so I can't complain that they don't get published lol. But, this has spurred me on and maybe next time I will be published in a magazine I can hold in my hands lol. The Scrapbook News & Review online magazine is available for purchase through their website. It is only $4.95 if your interested.

And lastly I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all the lovely gorgeous people out there who have left me such generous comments, praises and well wishers for my Kaisercraft Design Team Application! Kaisercraft DT Call Application

Hello Scrapper's,

Just a quick warning, this is a photo heavy post!As some of you may be aware Kaisercraft recently put out a call for 12 new Design Team members!! Very exciting and too good an opportunity, so I just thought to myself "Well I can only try". And so here it is....my Kaisercraft Design Team Application.

Single Page Layout

For my single page layout I have used Kraft cardstock as my base, featuring patterned paper from Kaisercraft's "Fun Fair" collection.

Double Page Layout

For this layout I have used Kaisercraft's "Timeless" collection. I absolutely love this range as it is so very versatile and the pages will work beautifully with just about any other paper range you can throw at it. As most of you know I also love anything vintage, distress, crackly and old lol. The pictures feature my Grandmother (the smallest girl in all the photo's) and I just adore these family treasures.

Home Decor Item

When I saw the new "Ornate Frame" that Kaisercraft released recently I knew I had to have a play with it lol. I had never tried the Kaisercraft "Crackle Medium" and decided to give it a go, and I just love the results. I'm also a huge fan of the new "Chanteuse" collection and could just see the gorgeous bird from the "Con Brio" paper sitting on the edge of the frame. And a bird wouldn't be complete without a nest and some eggs.

Mini Album

I absolutely love creating and decorating mini albums. For this mini album I used Kaisercraft's "Duchess" collection of patterned papers. Again I have gone with old world family photo's and a vintage look.

Altered Art/Mixed Media

For my altered art/mixed media project I wanted to create something I hadn't before. So I chose to make a shadow box from scratch. I have used an old picture frame that was about to be thrown out and painted it with Kaisercraft paint, then Kaisercraft Crackle Medium and another layer of Kaisercraft paint in a different colour. I just love the crackling effect.

The shadow box itself is made of chipboard and just stuck together with some mega thick masking tape. I didn't want the decoration to end at the frame, so I have sort of framed the frame you could say by using a paper punch to create some edging to the frame. I have used Kaisercrafts "English Rose" papers for this project. As well as Kaisercraft paper blooms and wood embellishments.

Card and Papercraft

Anyone who knows me as a friend or someone in the scrapping/crafty world knows I am a huge Copic Marker fan. I am also an Intermediately Certified Copic Designer. For this card and giftbox set I have used Kaisercraft's "English Rose" patterened papers from a mini pad. I love that Kaisercraft now have the 6x6inch mini pads, they are so versatile for cardmakers and scrapbookers. Sometimes it is nice to have a pattern but on a smaller scale.

For this card I have used Kaisercraft's "Up, Up and Away" collection. Once again I have used papers from the mini pad, which also comes with some die cut embellishments in the back.

Below are some previous projects I have completed using some Kaisercraft products.

Hi Scrapper's,

It is Sunday night and I had grand plans to finish a Shadow Box for a upcoming class, however I have instead started a spur of the moment reorganisation of my scrapbooking room lol. Mmmm... it looks like a bomb has hit parts of it, but as they say it must get worse before it gets better right?? Well, I might post some photo's in the next few days of my scraproom when it is finished.

Today I have a Mother's Day card to share. I know Easter hasn't even been and gone yet and I have made a Mother's Day card, but I was asked to make this one for one of my mum's friends. And she absolutely loves purple so it seemed appropriate that Tilda also be wearing a purple dress.

The flowers on this card are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves are from iamroses.com.

Happy Anniversary

Hello Scrapper's,

Just a quick post today to share with you a 25th Wedding Anniversary card I was asked to make. The lady who ordered this card said the 25th wedding anniversary is silver, so I have used a sparkling silver bazzil cardstock as the base. Take a look below.

I used my cricut to cut out the numbers "25" and the letters "th", then covered them in glossy accents and got out my brand new silver german glass glitter! I have been dying to use this, and this card was perfect for it. I am thrilled with how the numbers came out, although the photo doesnt do the glitter any justice lol.

Anyway I hope the reciepient likes their card. That's all from me today, I have lots of scrapping to do and not enough time to do it in lol. Thanks for stopping by.

Card Orders

Just a quick post today to show some simple birthday cards I was asked to make. A lady at work is turning 60 years old and another lady has a 30th and 60th birthday she needed cards for. I have been a bit inudated with card orders of late.

The card above was requested in orange and grey with a dragonfly.

The only request for the card above was that it have some purple and maybe butterflies.

And the card above is in the favourite colours of the recipient, black and yellow.

Next I need to make a Anniversay card and then I think I will put a stop to the card orders for a month lol, as I might like to scrap something for me, that would be nice lol.

A Flower Blooms Once

Paperific Expo

Hello Scrapper's,

I hope your weekends are off to a awesome start and that some of you in Victoria, Australia are headed to the Paperific Expo in Melbourne! I went yesterday with 5 friends and we made a day of it and it was fantastic! My favourite two things to see were chipboard products eg. Twiddley Bitz and Scrapware and ofcourse my beloved Copic Marker's!!

For those of you who don't know I am on the Mad for Marker's DT, and it was an absolute thrill to meet Sammi from Mad for Marker's at the expo. Sammi put together a fantastic stand with cards everywhere all coloured with wonderful Copic's by herself and some other fantastic girl's from the DT. But ofcourse the most thrilling aspect for any Copic Lover was the great wall of copics lol. See pic below.

Sammi also has La La Land Stamps, The Greeting Farm Stamps, Copic Refills, Xpress IT blending cardstock, Colour Swatch books and the new Shadows and Shading book by the Copic Queen herself Marianne Walker at her booth. Everything your heart disires!!

And today your in for a rare treat (NOT lol) below is a picture of myself, Annette and Sammi at the Mad for Marker's booth. It was wonderful as I said to meet Sammi finally and to see Annette again. Annette is a total sweetie!
