I thought I would share some projects I made in 2012.
It was hard to choose favourites at I have spent the year making class projects mainly with products I either do not really like or would never use. Therefore I haven't liked the outcome of many. But things will be different in 2013!
The start of 2012 was fantastic! It saw dreams come true and a happiness I thought I'd never known. Then the second half of the year came and a harsh reality and dreams were smashed so it is nice to get rid of 2012 and say hello to a fresh start in 2013!
Anyway here are the projects I had the most fun making this year:
Altered Birdhouse
I purchased this birdhouse from Bunnings at a great price. It was however a yucky green colour and it was just screaming for me to cover it with Tim Holtz Tissue Wrap and alter it.
Altered Clock
I purchased this clock at the Reject Shop (infact I purchased a few lol) and knew i had to alter it. I could just imagine the Pig's flying.
Real Men Layout
I did this layout for the Kaisercraft paper release. I love it so much as that is a photo of my Grandfather in his very young days, and it matches the papers so well.
Texture Canvas
This is the one thing I made in 2012 I am truly proud of. The gorgeous little girl on this canvas is Alexis my friend Jayne's daughter. Alexis was born in March and I am always nagging Jayne for more photos of her adorable baby girl.
She Art Canvas
I created this She Art canvas for a class, however it is a class I have been dying to teach for a long time now so I was thrilled when the canvas turned out the way it did. The classes had a fantastic response and it is something I was proud to teach.
Magnolia Card
I haven't had much of a chance to colour my gorgeous Magnolia stamps. Infact it wasn't until about 8 weeks ago that I even had the chance to take some from there packages as they had never been stamped! This card below has a Magnolia image coloured with Tim Holtz Distress Re-Inkers and Markers. I was determined this year to learn to colour with Distress.
Spread Ur Wings Create Art Canvas
I enjoyed making this canvas as it was just done for fun! I don't often make things just for fun so this was a novelty. It was also the first time I had made wings with wire and I loved it and will use this technique again. It was however a terrible project to try photograph lol
Thank you to those of you who take the time to leave me a comment every now and then, it is much appreciated!
I hope you all have a fantastic night and bring in the New Year with a Bang!!!!
See you in 2013
